Request reason:

Dear Wikipedia, we understand the reason for the block, and probably it's misunderstood as 'self-promotion' or 'advertising' which were not our original intentions. As first time users of Wikipedia, we are perhaps a bit confused by the guidelines (we did read through it!), but unfortunately we ended up being blocked :( What we were trying to do was just to write a general description about us, so that people can find and understand more when they search on the internet. We think the information will be helpful for people who'd like to find out more, hence we've submitted our first page - which was rejected. We would like to share that we respect Wikipedia's neutrality (which is why we are here in the first place). On another note, we did do quick searches about similar pages to ours which are on Wikipedia, as there are many who seemed easily findable on Wiki, we thought it would be okay. Hence we've put in our own article. Nevertheless, we do understand your policies, and your reviews on a case-to-case basis. What we would like to know is if we can re-edit our article, and re-submit again to meet your guidelines, perhaps our language wasn't perfect, and that was the problem. But once again as shared, we are only intending to create an informative page for the general public. We seek your reconsideration on this and hope you'd give us a chance!

Decline reason:

Firstly, I see that you use the plural first-person pronoun, which makes it look like a shared account. Secondly, you didn't give a proposed new name for the account. And no, you can't create an article about your comapny - please see Wikipedia:Autobiography, many of the issues mentioned there are equally true about an article about your company. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 10:56, 15 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello again and thank you for replying. This is not a shared account, it's my usual way of using 'we', rather than 'I'. I am the sole administrator for this account. In view of your reply, I understand that its not encouraged to write company articles. Noted, and I will not do so. I've changed the username to my name - Maverick Ling. I can be a contributor in technology, and perhaps other topics.
Please include a decline or accept reason.
