Please discuss at Template talk:Hawaii before changing the template/[edit]

WP:UE states "If a word or phrase (originally taken from some other language) is commonly used by English language sources" These are commonly used in English language sources in Hawaiʻi. Violations of WP:ERA[edit]

The guideline does not give priority to the earliest version. It says established style - if it's been BCE for several years (and some of the ones you changed were BCE 6 years or so ago), that's the established style. Doug Weller talk 16:11, 24 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
