Do not substantially edit talk pages, and do not remove comments from them

First off, you should always self-sign your comments using four tildes: ~~~~

I'd like to let you know, that it's a huge no-no to edit others' comments in Talk, and to remove any comments after they have been submitted.

To reiterate: If you have submitted a comment, then it's against policy to substantially edit them and remove them, no matter if they've been written by others, or are even yours. If you've submitted your own comments, and feel that you need to fix typos or clarify wording, then it's ok. Thus, if you want certain erroneously written words or phrases not to apply any longer in terms of substance, then use the <strike></strike> tag, and add the correct word or phrase.

Do also note, that an article's talk page is not your personal scratchpad to talk strategy about article content. For these things, each user has their own sandbox, located next to each user's user talk link at the top of the page. Your user sandbox is the place to experiment with wikicode and text.

In short: In article talk pages, you can discuss stuff and add information, but not delete anything.

In addition, I suggest that before editing and commenting in Talk, you first (re)acquaint yourself with the Help pages relevant to your editing effort (linked at the top left) and interacting with others on Wikipedia.
