May 2020[edit]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this IP address or network has been used to disrupt Wikipedia. It has been blocked from editing to prevent further abuse.
If you are not the intended target of this block, please read the information below in order to receive assistance.
Wikipedia tries to be open, but we sometimes must block IP addresses to prevent editing by abusers, vandals, or block evaders. These blocks can affect users who have done nothing wrong. If you are a legitimate user, follow the instructions below to edit despite the block. Users who are the intended target of a range block may still appeal the block.

IP users (without an account): If you do not have an account and wish to bypass this block, an account can be created to allow you to edit. In general, these blocks only prevent users who are not logged in from editing; once you are logged in, the block will no longer affect you in any way. To request an account, simply click here and follow the directions provided on the page. It is important that you use an e-mail address issued to you by your ISP, school, or organisation, so we may verify that you are a legitimate user. When filling out the account request form, please refer to this block in the "comments" input field. If you've been instructed to request an account via email, please refer to this block in your message.

Registered users (with an account): Please make sure you are logged in to your account. If you are unable to edit while logged in, you may request IP block exemption to bypass blocks unconnected with you that affect your editing. Post an unblock request to your user talk page.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Note: As a CU block please only checkusers respond and if possible also check me. Non checkusers do not have tools that ST47 has to block me.

Any administrator may leave a note, and so can any other user, but only a checkuser or arbitration(as in ArbCom)should review. This special addition, unlike the rest of the unblock request, while added by 67.81.198.147 (talk), was actually made at 15:57, 31 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I wish to be unblocked as 1 year is too long, even if malicious people used it. Gale5050 has access to this range, currently, every other Sunday(including this one). How about we reach a compromise where on the following Saturday’s we block this IP for a period of 48 hours(or it could be Sunday’s before 14:00)

June 13

June 27

July 11

July 25

As of now. Improvise when needed. This range goes have collateral damage as it is a home IP address(kind of like 47.16.99.72, which is Gale5050’s maim IP). I hope we can reach a compromise where I can edit but not when Gale5050 is here. One year is too long, given how 47.16.99.72 is blocked for 6(although technically 6.5 as a half month in block was restarted as well and technically 8 because 1.5 months after that Martin Urbanec globally blocked it.) also at least mark the IP sock after it was checked of who it belongs to. Thank you much. 67.81.198.147 (talk) 15:43, 31 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

No; we're not going to waste our time with this. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 16:03, 31 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Notice[edit]

Are you the same IP address of.globally locked Gale5050? 107.77.189.13 (talk) 17:54, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Item that may need attention regarding the block on this IP address[edit]

@ST47 and Jpgordon: See this edit to this talk page from earlier this month and the subsequent edit, in which the same editor reverted himself with an interesting edit summary. It looks like the user of this address may have moved on. See also geolocation of this address and that of the other address. If the editor has moved on, and this isn't a false flag, the block on this account may no longer be required.

For what it's worth, I came here because of this routine semi-protected-edit request which I've already addressed. That led me to the editor's contributions which led me here. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 18:37, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
