How many thousands of biographical entries need to be corrected?[edit]

There was line in the Early Life section of this biography which read, "He is of Jewish descent." Putting aside the fact that one isn't descended from a religion, the reference cited doesn't seem to mention Rubin's ethnic or religious background. There's a paragraph early on describing Rubin's surroundings that mentions the Christian Bible and Buddhist and New Age texts. No Torah, however. Beyond being simply incorrect this is pretty clearly ideologically driven which would seem to have no place on a website calling itself an encyclopedia. I would note for the inevitable arrival of the thought police that I visited the page because my partner (a person of Ukranian descent whose grandparents practiced Judaism - see the difference?) was listening to Public Enemy and didn't know who Rick Rubin is. Now she does and now I know that correcting this same error on probably thousands of entries is beyond me. Here's a source that Wikipedia's ideological guardians approve of, even if it is wrapped in a different ideological agenda.68.80.254.218 (talk) 23:39, 14 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
