Hi, I see you keep on changing Eidur Gudjohnsen's name back to it's English version. Please can you stop doing this. The format should be in how it is spelt in his native country, not his adopted one. Cheers. Quentin X (talk) 21:36, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia articles can be viewed in many languages. However, since this version of the article is written in English, Eidur Gudjohnsen's name should also be written in English. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.116.135.134 (talkcontribs) 19:36, 10 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article may be written in English, but it doesn't follow that the players name should be, as it's not his name. It's the Anglicised version, and not the true version. If this was the case, the players own article would be the Anglicised one. Quentin X (talk) 19:45, 10 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Then we should edit the player's own article.

Sorry, it's just not the way it works. Rules are rules I'm afraid. Now please stop changing it back or I will have to start proceedings to get your IP blocked. Nicely of course. Quentin X (talk) 10:26, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Can you show me these rules you speak of?

I'll get back to you on that. For the time being, please leave it as the article name. Quentin X (talk) 19:19, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why can't it be left as Eidur Gudjohnsen for the time being?

Demichelis

[edit]

Could you please see Talk:2010–11 Chelsea F.C. season#Demichelis v De Michelis? I'm sure we're both getting a bit tired of just reverting it, and conversation would be much more constructive. Thanks. AllynJ (talk | contribs) 16:00, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
