Information icon Hello, I'm Joyous!. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Clan Muir, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Joyous! Noise! 20:21, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have been researching about Clan Muir. I would suggest that you look at Moir Genealogy and Collateral Lines: With Historical Notes
Book by Alexander L. Moir and as well as The Works Of Sir William Mure Of Rowallan 69.123.145.217 (talk) 05:57, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Hi! I understand your frustration. I am not contesting the material you added: only the lack of sourcing. BUT based on your comment above, it looks like you have access to a reliable source. We're just asking that you include it when you add the content. If you need help with that, you can look over the page on including citations. Joyous! Noise! 19:39, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If that the case how come in the clan Muir wikipedia there is a whole section that has absolutely no reliable source. There is no proof that Large is a Sept of clan Muir. 69.123.145.217 (talk) 23:38, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's hypocritical that you state " Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Clan Muir." But yet u have a whole section on clan Muir with no reliable sources 69.123.145.217 (talk) 06:03, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
