Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
Your edit summary suggests a battlefield mentality. If you continue to remove and change content without consensus, you may be blocked for edit warring. EvergreenFir (talk) 00:55, 25 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:70.248.28.108 reported by User:EvergreenFir (Result: ). Thank you. EvergreenFir (talk) 00:59, 25 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you made a change to an article, People v. Turner, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 03:30, 25 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You are well aware that the significant amount of work I am doing is hard to get perfect in one edit. Lay off on the deep revert. Take the easy step of adding a "citation needed" template if you simply must interfere on a moment-to-moment basis.--70.248.28.108 (talk) 03:38, 25 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to People v. Turner. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 03:56, 25 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I am doing "rough citing" by getting the citations in the proper section. I will get it down to the paragraph and sentence when I find the time. Stop being so computer-nerd picky. It is not a computer programming language; it is the English language intended to be read by human beings rather than a mindless machine with a CPU.--70.248.28.108 (talk) 04:07, 25 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edit summaries

[edit]

Your use of edit summaries, such as the one you left with this edit and this edit - are absolutely unacceptable and are to stop immediately. You are to leave professional and appropriate edit summaries with your changes, and do so with the intention of leaving positive contributions. If I see another edit summary such as these, you will be blocked from editing. Thank you for understanding. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 05:36, 25 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
