I did not have any intention on vandalizing anything barry literally went back and changed things that where up for months and his only excuse was for changing it was they "follow guidelines." If they didn't follow guidelines they would have been taken off fairly quickly. I know from experience that whenever something is edited wrongly it gets changed back fast. He only changed it back to make his argument seem better. 72.135.248.71 (talk) 01:32, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring notice[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Megamind. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Adakiko (talk) 10:30, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This is a reply that was made on my page about a film I tried to edit a page for a film on wikipedia in which it literally took me about 2 hours to get everything in order and I had sources set up. Yet they claimed it was "poorly worded." Or not well sourced. Earlier attempts to change the page of the film have tried to use "Know your meme" and "YouTube." However they changed it because they "where not reliable sources." Read the full edit please. (I did this because I'm blocked from editing on Wikipedia by "ToBeFree" Read the lower page please.)
I spent literally 2 hours trying to edit the page for the film at one point and yet they didn't accept. I plead with the people there to to try and help me fix issues that I've made during the edit however they literally did NOTHING about it expect change it back. They claimed Know your meme and YouTube cannot be used for sources. How? I have 2 examples of this firstly is on the article that lists the various characters from the nintendo video game "Punch-out!!" Where they mention super macho man it has a piece of information on there that acknowledges the characters meme status. And guess where it comes from? Know your meme. That reversion was made on November 4th 2022 a full 9 MONTHS of it being on there. (Link of the edit here : https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:MobileDiff/1119960880) The second example is Youtuber "Coryxkenshin." Where he talks about things that happened in his personal life and there are 2 videos from YouTube on that page. The edit was made a literal month ago on July 21th. (Edit link here : https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:MobileDiff/1166428627) both of these edits are still on the page which have been on there for MONTHS. So if I can't include know your meme and yotube as sources why can they do so? It has baffled me. 72.135.248.71 (talk) 19:59, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I quite literally did not intend on doing anything. Barry was going back and changing articles that where on for months at a time and his excuse was "Wrong things can stay on for a long time!" Please barry. Whenever I've edited a article it has "non verifiable information." Or isn't worded well. It gets taken off very quickly by users he only took it off after I pointed out there where examples of other things used in articles that can be used such as YouTube videos or know your meme. He only had me banned due to the fact he was losing his argument. But of course he's a public figure here he got off scott free for taking off stuff that once again il say. Was on for months. Another thing I found while doing research regarding what can and can't be put on here is there are quote "people who lack the ability to cooperate." I was literally trying to do that several times asking for the help of other users to help me properly word out certain things as I'm admittedly not the best at editing pages on here but literally no one helped me out. Not a single person tried. All they did was change it back and not do anything to help me out. It's absolutely absurd. 72.135.248.71 (talk) 09:09, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I also found a link that mentions the video I'm trying to get on there but of course wikipedia bans people for way too long so i have to post it here. I'd try and show barry but I can't. https://chattymatters.com/9761/previous-articles-videos/the-rise-of-the-video-essay/ 72.135.248.71 (talk) 20:10, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
