Notice of neutral point of view noticeboard discussion[edit]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Neutral point of view/Noticeboard regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Kevin Paffrath: Landlord?. Thank you. GorillaWarfare (she/her • talk) 21:55, 27 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page style[edit]

Hi 73, I encourage you to take a little more time on your initial talk page comments. When you follow your initial posts with 25 more fixes/clarifications/additions, it makes it difficult for other readers to read and respond to your points. This is true in a technical sense, as multiple editors submitting at once can create edit conflicts. It also presents non-technical communication challenges, being something like the online version of trying to have a conversation with someone who won't let a word in edgewise. Thanks! Firefangledfeathers (talk) 03:11, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again! I just want to recommend using your sandbox as a place to finalize your comments before placing them on a talk page. Doing so would be very helpful to me and other editors. As an example, in this sequence of 15 edits across 30 minutes you essentially made it impossible for any other editor to post a comment without experiencing an edit conflict. Firefangledfeathers (talk) 16:19, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you keep on spamming talk pages with tons of minor tweaks you are gonna get some kind of sanction.Slatersteven (talk) 16:08, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Feathers and slater, I will try harder to cut down on the mini edits and use sandbox or offline wordpad, etc. It's a bad habit I developed outside of WP.73.248.126.206 (talk) 16:20, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. Here's another courtesy notice of another discussion: Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#73.248.126.206_needs_a_quick_block. If you alter your editing style there'll probably be no need of any action or discussion there, but I do warn you that the admin's noticeboard is certainly not a good place to use this multiple edit style. -- zzuuzz (talk) 16:26, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I did it once and it was right away so as not to interrupt others. It's a separate point from that made above. I assure I will not make the rapid strings of edits seen in the history.73.248.126.206 (talk) 17:41, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

78.26, there was more to this user than them jerking people around through the IP address... Drmies (talk) 00:06, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

June 2021[edit]

Hello, I'm Philipnelson99. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Camden, New Jersey, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Philipnelson99 (talk) 17:53, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Philipnelson99I did provide a source. The source substantiates multiple sentences. Please refer to the source to verify.73.248.126.206 (talk) 17:56, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@73.248.126.206 Apologies, I've confirmed that the source was there. I just didn't see it all in the most recent edit. Philipnelson99 (talk) 17:59, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

October 2021[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from Entheogen. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. November 2021[edit]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this IP address or network has been used to disrupt Wikipedia. It has been blocked from editing to prevent further abuse.
If you are not the intended target of this block, please read the information below in order to receive assistance.
Wikipedia tries to be open, but we sometimes must block IP addresses to prevent editing by abusers, vandals, or block evaders. These blocks can affect users who have done nothing wrong. If you are a legitimate user, follow the instructions below to edit despite the block. Users who are the intended target of a range block may still appeal the block.

IP users (without an account): If you do not have an account and wish to bypass this block, an account can be created to allow you to edit. In general, these blocks only prevent users who are not logged in from editing; once you are logged in, the block will no longer affect you in any way. To request an account, simply click here and follow the directions provided on the page. It is important that you use an e-mail address issued to you by your ISP, school, or organisation, so we may verify that you are a legitimate user. When filling out the account request form, please refer to this block in the "comments" input field. If you've been instructed to request an account via email, please refer to this block in your message.

Registered users (with an account): Please make sure you are logged in to your account. If you are unable to edit while logged in, you may request IP block exemption to bypass blocks unconnected with you that affect your editing. Post an unblock request to your user talk page.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
