The map of Coyotes in America is not updated. There are Coyotes in Georgia now. North Georgia, Ringgold all the way down to Atlanta. My neighbors have shot Coyotes here in Ringgold, GA. It's never closed hunting season. They also eat Domestic Felines, (house cats if you let them out). I had to learn this the hard way, I have 3 cats now missing since I moved to a house in Ringgold, Georgia June 1, 2016.
