May 2019[edit]

I noticed that you removed a line of mine, "Eintracht went first in shootout" immediately after it was added, saying that it was unnecessary. I won't be undoing your change, but...the story of a shootout does depend on which team went first. Everyone who remembers any shootout remembers who took the last kick. The current Wikipedia template unfortunately doesn't show that, unlike some other football website templates.

As a general point, it's fine to correct errors immediately. But for matters of style, it may be best to leave them a while, to see what others think.

Best wishes, Pete Ridges (talk) 10:32, 18 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm SSSB. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, 2019 Spanish Grand Prix, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. If you add content it is your responsibillity to add sources and per WP:VNT if you can't find a source for it, then don't add it. Thanks, SSSB (talk) 10:50, 12 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I notice that you added a comment on my talk page, though I thought it best to reply here so I would be certain that you would recieve it (you can't {{ping}} an IP). I am aware of the official FIA documents (I acutually have this on my favourites bar), thats why I didn't outright remove your addition. But like I said above if you wish to add information it is your responsibillity to add the appriotate references (see WP:PROVEIT), these can be from the official FIA documents as these are reliable. For information on how to add references see WP:CS. Hope this expains the above message a bit further. Thanks, SSSB (talk) 11:16, 12 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Stop icon You will surely be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to 2019–20 Juventus F.C. season. – Flix11 (talk) 04:20, 13 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
