February 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm BilCat. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Lockheed F-104 Starfighter, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. BilCat (talk) 12:19, 14 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Hi!: if you take the effort of reading the F-104 articles, in Wikipedia and elsewhere, also about X-3 Stiletto, you'll see that the Douglas X-3 Stiletto experience was determinant in the design of F-104; to modify or delete entries in aviation history, comments, some knowledge of field is needed, obviously, you lack it, as the simple watch of images of F-104 and Stiletto wing plan form will show one inspired the other. Please reposition entry, and consider a thorough review of yor scope and attitudes. Thanks, have a good time. Salut + — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.51.135.150 (talk)

No, it's not OK. You need to cite reliable published when you add or change information on Wikipedia. That's non-negotiable, and failure to do so means you can and should be reverted. I'm not sure what "the simple watch of images" is supposed to mean, but if you mean just look at the images in comparison, that isn't acceptable on Wik, and proves nothing. There is a lot of false information out there, and it gets added to Wikipedia all the time. If your claims are correct, you'll have no trouble finding a reliable source to cite. - BilCat (talk) 23:09, 18 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
