I agree that my edits on the discussion on Rus fits better in a forum or in an online. However the wars mentioned in Estonia is supported by archeology and I saw a documentary at SVT were archeologists seem to support the idea that Ingvar invaded Estonia and if you look in the article there is alot of archeology to support the idea that Swedes invaded 700s. I really do not need sources for that since the article already contains sources confirming the idea that Swedish warriors probably under Ingvar invaded Estonia in 600 AD.

Maybe you do not need sources, but in Wikipedia we need sources for all information added into articles. - Altenmann >talk 01:27, 9 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The article itself contains the sources. Not just icelandic sagas but also supported by archeological evidence. What more do you need? We have his body in Estonia. Six different sources from historians in Sweden and Estonia. I did not make up any sources. 2A00:801:798:8AFC:D11C:E9FA:F86:78F3 (talk) 13:57, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Eric used his power as a king for a red wedding and a lion banner. Tywin Lannister in real life lol. Yngwir Frey is Haakon that just like hin enjoyed raping womem and siring bastards. When you have someone as ruthless power strategist as Tywin Lannister in real life he wins.

He defeated a nummerical superior force twice. First Vladimir and Yaropolks civil war and then defeated Harald Blueetoth and his Jomsvikings completly. A strategic genius. He also knew how to use marriages to form alliances to strengthen his own position. Brilliant leader and very very very vengeful if you did something against his politicall ambitions. His daughters love for Åke did not matter at all for Eric. He defeated and killed all his enemies in war and at weddings. But at least Åke unlike Rob killed a man. Even thou it was an arranged marriage to create peace. Eric and his daughter followed him during Vladimirs militarily campaign. Being the man behind the throne like Lanister. Never giving himself the full power. Åke could have taken any other girl. But he probably loved Eriks daughter and she loved him. The reason he murdered Yaropolk. Eric is somewhat more benevolent than Tywin. But playing a similar game.
