Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Frédéric Bourdin. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.

I am Frédéric Bourdin and I guess I am the most reliable person there is about my life !!! The modification I have made are confirmed by many medias in France, I'm French you know ???

Assuming you are Bourdin, you should not be editing your own article. See also WP:AUTOBIOGRAPHY. The French source you put in your edit summary is insufficiently clear to me to rely on for this material. It seems to mix up a film with Bourdin's life, as well as some allusions to books, and I can't follow where one leaves off and another begins, or what precisely it's basing the story of Bourdin's life on. Therefore, I am going to again revert the material. If you want to insert the material, please go to the article Talk page to discuss it (I've opened a topic there). Do not just reinsert it without first achieving a WP:CONSENSUS that it is fully supported by the source and otherwise appropriate for the article. If you insist on reinserting the material, you risk being blocked from editing here.--Bbb23 (talk) 00:26, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Where did it say anywhere that Bourdin's mother wanted an abortion ??? It's false !!! So if you want to go to court for diffamation keep going, it's fact and well documented in France that it was the father if his mother who wanted her to abort !!!

Hello. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.--Bbb23 (talk) 00:48, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for making legal threats or taking legal action. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia while the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved. The Bushranger One ping only 05:13, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Request reason:

I ask for people to make me understand if I'm wrong: I've been blocked from editing Wikipedia until November 2013 for "Socking, same user that made legal threats previously". I am not socking, I did not try to hide my identity in order to edit this article so I don't understand why it's been said that I'm guilty of socking. I waited for my block to end so that I could again edit the article "Frederic Bourdin", I believe there is nothing wrong about that. But I believe that some kind of "Mafia" is running Wikipedia. I'm appealing to someone who has a shred of honesty to come and study what had happened; it's true that I have made in the past legal threat to Bbb23 because he has been harmful and unfair concerning "Frederic Bourdin"'s article, and I did not know that by doing so it would open "abusive gate" to Bbb23 and his friends to stop me editing "Frederic Bourdin"'s article under any reason they could find like the one that now has me blocked until November 2013. There are many article on Wikipedia, and many of them are quoting the subject of the article ! Why then Bbb23 can get away cancelling my changes "I quote reliable sources like the telegraph" he's saying that we can't quote Bourdin because he might be lying ! There are absolutely nothing in Wikipedia's rules that forbids me to quote a subject no matter who that subject is and as long as I use reliable sources, which I always did ! So I changed again the article for the better and please consider that many part of the Frederic Bourdin's article have been made because I've worked on it for years, even the French version. This situation is not ending, and I am asking for an impartial administrators from Wikipedia to intervene hoping that they will remove my block which I repeat is UNFAIR. Bbb23's actions on the Frederic Bourdin's article have been harmful to the article's credibility and also my credibility... I f I made mistakes adressing the problem when it started then I'm really sorry for that but it was simply because I did not know how Wikipedia worked when there was conflicts. Bbb23 used my ignorance and his ties with other admin. to block me. I don't think I should be blocked for editing articles with reliable sources, and my ignorances dealing with troublemakers such has Bbb23. I hope that someone honesty will step up on this and do what's fair, I really did nothing wrong !

Decline reason:

As long as a legal threat has been made without being retracted, you are not allowed to edit Wikipedia, because all subsequent communication must be done through appropriate legal channels. You have admitted above that you issued a legal threat, but nowhere in your unblock request have you retracted it. ~Amatulić (talk) 06:07, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
