Hi there (and no, did not watch the match before you ask. But from what i heard it was an appalling display from Portugal save from Patrício. The self-called best of the universe played like his other nine teammates, but this guy has been touched by the hand of God, what can you do?),

Vladimir Screciu looks very good also, as expected! I think you should only open the publisher in the first ref (no need to hide the full name of Romanian Professional League) and remove the wikilink when the publisher is a club, it's not needed in my humble opinion as the club's name/link appears all over the place (box, intro, charts of stats in the end, etc). THANK YOU Edinson Cavani, for two reasons: 1 - football is not a sport that unites all people and a party overall, quite the contrary, countries making fun of other countries when they lose (and one has to wonder what does a country lose when their SPORTS TEAM loses a MATCH), people killing each other for NOTHING and people that could not care less about club football getting all excited when it's the national team (nothing but ANOTHER CLUB with the flag of X/Y/Z country inserted on the shirt!); 2 - dedicated to the idiotic sports press of my country (I imagine it's the same in other countries, but I don't read them - well, I know a little of Marca (newspaper) and it's disgusting (for example in the last days similar outcomes had different titles, like "Mbappé CRUSHES Messi" compared to "Cavani OUSTS Cristiano", or "Messi DISAPPEARS AGAIN WHEN TEAM NEEDED HIM THE MOST", compared to "The night CRISTIANO WAS LESS CRISTIANO THAN EVER", and from what I understand that last article only appeared when users of the newspaper complained in the commentaries only the Messi article existed!), I also know of that story you told me about A. Mutu playing poorly and still getting his ass licked by the national press), as imagined, the tournament was 1% Rui Patrício because of his saves, 1% of Ricardo Quaresma because of his goal against Iran (and also because he's of gypsy ethinicity, now he's a minority who fights to overcome prejudice and succeed, another heartbreaking story) and 98% of you know who, the narcissistic ultramillionaire who had a very good game against Spain, decided against Morocco even though he played poorly (but he made good of his only chance, he deserves credit for that) and then LESS THAN ZERO. The fucking Portuguese internet still managed to make a SAINT out of him with news like this (https://desporto.sapo.pt/futebol/mundial-2018/artigos/cristiano-ronaldo-o-vosso-apoio-foi-e-sempre-sera-fundamental-para-nos-obrigado-portugal). Oh, he was upset after this dramatic loss (yes, very "dramatic" when there are people starving and losing everything in my country because of fires) and still took the time to go to the social media and thank the fans (imagining he DID WRITE IT), no one else did that but him; also, more of this saint (this one also appeared in "Marca" http://www.marca.com/futbol/mundial/2018/07/01/5b37fe54e5fdea44378b4570.html), he helped Cavani leave the field injured when all he wanted to do is what 100% (OK less, but not that much less) of the players do, rushing the opponent(s) off the field so that they do not waste time. For all this I repeat, THANK YOU EC21 (see, I can also use idiotic nicknames)! Have a great week, continue the good work.

Forgot this. ANOTHER AGGRESSION on an opponent (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dEwG3rYePw). I am surprised to have found this news in the Portuguese media (see here https://www.jn.pt/desporto/interior/a-imprensa-internacional-e-o-cotovelo-de-ronaldo-9510681.html, but of course no VIDEO, only stills), but of course they had to twist everything (starts in the title, "A imprensa internacional e o cotovelo de Ronaldo", which translates into "The international press and Ronaldo's elbow", meaning "It's the press from other countries that says this, we have nothing to do with that in Portugal!", and it the sub-title we can read "...no lance que poderia ter resultado na expulsão do melhor jogador do mundo." I tried to translate ANOTHER source in Hagi Jr, i think i have it well except for the last sentence ("Marele favorit face senzație la Mondiale"), did not want to risk it so i come to you. Also, reverted stuff added by an IP on 5 July, at 16:27 (i don't know if the transfer fee to Fiorentina was altered in a given time, but the ESPN source - the #6 - says it was ONE MILLION EUROS, the IP had no business removing that especially with ZERO WORDS in summary!

Hi, when updating infobox stats you should update the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update= or |ntupdate= parameter for international stats, by adding five tildes (~~~~~), which generates the specific time the update was made. I don't trust that user one bit because they use Google Translate for their "translations" (one example would be when Francisco Molinero signed for Getafe, look at the "translation" https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Francisco_Molinero&diff=816593165&oldid=810493226...); 2 - Mr. Albín scoring ten goals in 28 competitive games in his first season with Petrolul, think you can find a quick source in your language for that? That would be great!

Regarding your request, i'm afraid i cannot promise anything because i'm not very comfortable editing Romanian footballers (or based in that country) after your "pushy" compatriot started that "FCSB vs STEAUA BUCURESTI" war (by the way, the article is still named STEAUA B from what i see, so he continues to be 100% wrong). I'll only work regularly in Cosmin Contra's article because it's one of the pieces regarding football in Romania i helped improve the most; also, i repeat again, i'm not worried at all regarding the quality of Romanian football articles because your work is very good and appreciated, because: 1 - your level of English is very good; 2 - you add sources to 99,99999999999999% - if not 100% - of what you write.

Hello. I've recently been going through Category:SVGs for cleanup and have noticed that you have uploaded quite a few images in this category. In the future, please do not upload bitmap images (such as .png or .jpg) as an .svg file. Vector graphics are rendered completely different than bitmap.

For files that I found an actual SVG format, I've uploaded over the existing file. For files that I could not find an actual SVG, I've reuploaded the file as a PNG.

Nu este chiar asa, echipa lui Becali a pierdut numele și sigla in anul 2014. In urma proceselor, a putut să se lungeasca și să mai folosească ilegal numele. @Rhinen: nope this has always existed on English WP or at least since 2007 as this diff from the talk page guidelines shows. [1]. I sometimes use French when communicating with a French speaker who doesn't master English but I always supply a translation so those that read the page will understand. User talk pages are not private and we use them to collaborate with the community in general and not as a private chat room. It's a bit like as if you were at work and were surrounded by colleagues who mostly only spoke English and you decided to talk to another colleague who also speaks perfect English about a work related subject in Romanian in front of the others. Do you know how to put in english wikipedia the emblems of these teams as they are in greek wikipedia, in high quality? I did it, but they asked me to reduce it and I didn't know how to do it. Ce facui eu. Daca tinusi neaparat sa scrii in engleza ta, desi eu am copiat de la fotbalistii de Premier League, am lasat. Insa neaparat trebuie mentionat ca a fost in echipa sezonului in 2018/19. Ala e un trofeu major individual. Iar clauza la vremea aceea era record in Romania si o egalase pe cea a lui Florinel Coman. Si in legatura cu premiul Fotbalistul Anului, nu trebuie neaparat sa mentionezi GSP in introducere si nici la Honours. Pentru ca premiul se identifica cu Gazeta Sporturilor. Sau invers. For sourcing, I would assume that if there's a reference next to the team that indicates all the honours won with that team are referenced. This would make individual references for those honours unnecessary.

I'm not sure whether this has been discussed at WP:FOOTY but I think such a sub-heading is only necessary to separate different kinds of honours. So if all honours were won at club level, no "club" sub-heading is necessary. Robby.is.on (talk) 16:52, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
