Nishtha Desai moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Nishtha Desai. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because You have a basic misunderstanding of referencing. You have provided bookls as "references" and then cited Google Books. We need something different.: For a living person we have a high standard of referencing. Every substantive fact you assert, especially one that is susceptible to potential challenge, requires a citation with a reference that is about them, and is independent of them, in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS, and is significant coverage. Please also see WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources and WP:SELFPUB which has clear limitations on self published sources. Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact cited, that meet these tough criteria is likely to make this draft a clear acceptance (0.9 probability). Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the person is not suitable for inclusion, certainly today. . Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

I have not checked in detail, but I think she might meet the criteria. Please restore your work, do a little more so that the references are valid and valuable, and resubmit. It woudl be a shame to waste your efforts so far.

she has won a couple of awards and has some coverage in media about her work. and I think all I wrote was referenced with evidence but I put too many of her own writing under the Works section. will work on it. thank you 8d1t0r (talk) 14:23, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
