February 2021[edit]

Hi IP92. Why did you do this? Martinevans123 (talk) 22:05, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Martin. It seems inappropriate for my own talk page used for communicating with me. I do have control over my own talk page don't I? Also, can you please confirm if DuncanHill will also receive the message on his Talk page about reverting? As he has reverted 5 times now without any contribution to the Talk page of the article he was reverting. If I am correct this would be in breach of the three revert rule. 92.24.246.53 (talk) 22:52, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I think technically you only "own" this talk page if your IP isn't dynamic; otherwise you share it with a theoretically infinite number of other anonymous IP users? But I'm not totally sure if there's any Wikipedia policy on that. It looks to me like DuncanHill has made six separate contributions to Talk:Francis Bacon Talk:Francis Bacon (artist) in the last 24 hours. Martinevans123 (talk) 23:00, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
So as my IP is static, then I am correct? Ok. The page referenced in your comment is Francis Bacon the philosopher. Duncan may or may not have contributed to that page. To the Francis Bacon (Artist) page however, has he contributed to the subject of his 5 reversions? Has he breached the three reversion rule? 92.24.246.53 (talk) 23:13, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ah yes. Well spotted, I meant Talk:Francis Bacon (artist). Have just corrected. Still not sure of you "own" this Talk page. You might change ISP and the IP gets re-allocated? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 23:32, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Martin. Thanks for the response. You haven't answered my previous questions though. Has user DuncanHill contributed to the subject of his 5 reversions like I have? And has he breached the three reversion rule? Thanks. 92.24.246.53 (talk) 23:43, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
