Dubai Creek Tower[edit]

Thanks for your recent edit. However Dubai Creek Tower is a 'tower' not a 'building' according to the terminology used in Wikipedia. Therefore you are incorrect to try to include it in the article List of future tallest buildings. If you disagree you can always discuss this at that articles talk page but please do not include this information again. In addition any edits that involve new information require a reliable source WP:RS. And finally please do not call edits such as the one you made a 'typo'. This is against Wikipedia policy and simply incorrect. 'Typos' are typographical errors meaning errors in punctuation, spelling and grammar not changes in content. Thanks. April 2020[edit]

Information icon Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to List of future tallest buildings. Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox.

  • As has already been explained to you: Dubai Creek Tower is an observation tower --- not a "building". They are different. Also, your edits aren't "typos", so please stop mislabeling them as such.MelbourneStartalk 06:57, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at List of future tallest buildings, you may be blocked from editing. Burj Khalifa is a skyscraper, not a tower. Dubai Creek Tower is an observation tower, not a skyscraper. Also, in response to your edit summary, the list specifically says that '"It includes buildings 427-m or 1,400ft or taller but not other structures such as towers, poles, and antennae cables"' (Dubai Creek Tower is a 'tower', not a building as Wikipedia defines).MelbourneStartalk 07:05, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at List of future tallest buildings. —MelbourneStartalk 08:50, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:94.204.65.70 reported by User:Robynthehode (Result: ). Thank you. Robynthehode (talk) 10:22, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Two editors have explained re Dubai Creek Tower and why it is not relevant to this list. Your behaviour contravenes good Wikipedia editing behaviour. If you have an issue you must take this to the talk page. Unfortunately because of your editing behaviour today I have reported you to the admins (link above) about this and asked for a block so you can cool off and read up on what is expected of editors in Wikipedia. Please do not revert any edit prior to a decision being made. This will reflect very poorly on your behaviour and may result in a longer block. Robynthehode (talk) 10:30, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/94.204.65.70, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
