Hello, I'm Glane23. I noticed that in this edit to How I Met Your Mother, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Geoff | Who, me? 22:06, 26 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did at User talk:94.5.189.130. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Just because someone disagrees with you does not make them a "troll". Personal attacks in edit summaries are still personal attacks. See WP:NPA. LOL you reported me for making (and rightfully reverting) factually truthful edits, hence why the main Editor/Mod instantly sided with me and put a permanent stop to your incoherent nonsense.
Congrats across the board. 94.5.189.130 (talk) 00:08, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Where exactly was any sort of insult made against another user @Bastun: that justifies a full warning like this? Checking the pages history there appears to be no such insult justifying yet another warning against the user. You yourself have said significantly worse to other users throughout your time on the site. Is there any reason why you are being so harsh towards a brand new user to the site?Dubarr18 (talk) 11:13, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring and violating the three-revert rule. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Daniel Case (talk) 22:31, 10 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Why am I the one who has been incoherently blocked when it was objectively proven that MY original edits were the factually correct ones? Hence why the overseeing Editor/Mod saw the Edit War and sided with me. Did you block the ACTUAL instigator of this ridiculous Edit War??? Pathetic nonsense hypocrisy 94.5.189.130 (talk) 00:05, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The 3R's rule means that if a user reverts a page over the same dispute more than three times they are blocked regardless of the reason for it, this is done to prevent edit warring. In the future look to take such a discussion in talk.Dubarr18 (talk) 11:13, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
