Information icon Hello, I'm Drmies. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Unsounded, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 14:43, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I can't actually reply to your talk page, since it is extend-protected. Can you explain which source was unreliable and why? AFriendlyIrin (talk) 14:47, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
"Note that the monster is not drawn in a different visual style" is original research and editorial commentary: the Wikipedia editor points out something is to be noted and interpreted in a certain way. The creator's commentary, sourced to Tumblr--well, we should be wary about citing any artist's own commentary. "Unsounded would later make..." is likewise unsourced, and "explicit reference", that's a matter that needs sourcing as well. Drmies (talk) 15:41, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Why should we be wary about citing an artist's own explanation for why they made a certain artistic decision? What more reliable source could there possibly be? The reliable sourcing page you linked does not explain this. AFriendlyIrin (talk) 13:52, 18 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
