[edit]
There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Yunshui  22:20, 14 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I am here to contribute information of topics that interest to me, I would like to add valuable information to the wikipedia world. I understand why my profile was blocked. This was a case of not being able to find a username that was available

Decline reason:

I am declining this request. You were not blocked solely due to your username, but due to the fact that you edited your userpage about your company. You will need to review WP:PROMO, WP:COI, and WP:PAID before you make another unblock request. 331dot (talk) 22:39, 14 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I do now understand both reasons. I overlooked the second reason when initially replying. This is not a registered business. When studying your attached pages I can confirm that I am not looking to promote a business on wikipedia, I was simply trying to create an account to eventually be able to create articles. I can understand why this may be a little confusing however when writing the page description I wrote it because I thought I had to enter at least something in order for me to edit a page or create a new page. Hopefully you can understand that this was just a bad start and not how i intended to exist as a contributor

Decline reason:

Procedural decline, only one open request at a time, please. 331dot (talk) 12:47, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

declining rename

[edit]

The proposed user name still looks like a WP:role account. We need a user name representative of a single user not sharing a role or an account.-- Dlohcierekim (talk) 04:10, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

My main reason for being here is to be a willing volunteer to research and add information on influential figures/ subjects I feel should be available, for instance, there are some artists out there that do not appear on wikipedia and I would like to add a non biased article about them. I have also been reading and using wikipedia for a very long time and feel I can help fine tune information given on certain articles as I am passionate and well informed about subjects that are sometimes relayed incorrectly

Accept reason:

Alright, we'll give you another chance, but be extremely careful to avoid any semblance of promotional edits. Swarm 05:54, 25 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

What will you edit about other than Bliprecords?-- Dlohcierekim (talk) 04:13, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that only one unblock request is needed at a time. If you would like to make subsequent comments, please do so as a standard comment and not as an unblock request. Thanks 331dot (talk) 13:44, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Could you be more specific? Please note that, passion and personal expertise aside, all content must be cited from reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and have a reputation for fact checking. Subjects of encyclopedia articles must meet requirements. Any connection outside Wikipedia should be disclosed per WP:COI.-- Dlohcierekim (talk) 13:51, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I can be more specific. If we take alex ko for instance. This profile is still in need of more references from reliable sources. I would edit the section and references by including links from goodreads or amazon (company). Articles that I am currently drafting include another performer however I am still in the process of gathering information for them. When I do eventually publish this article I will be including references from relevant and reliable music platforms, reviewers and third party sites that confirm the information given in the article. I hope this shows that I do understand the restraints and standards of Wikipedia.

Blocked again

[edit]

...aaaand the first thing you do when unblocked it to start creating a promotional page for one of your artists, without making any attempt to comply with the conflict of interest or paid editing policies at all. Your account is now blocked again; given that you have already abused the community's good will by making false promises in your previous appeal, I think it unlikely you will convince anyone to lift the block a second time. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for violating Wikipedia's terms of use by engaging in undisclosed paid editing and using Wikipedia for advertising or promotion.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

For reviewing admins, see this edit (admins only), note the URL provided for the company's event management arm, and then try Googling that along with the name of this user's most recently deleted article. Seems a hell of a stretch for that to be a coincidence. Yunshui  23:26, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Firstly your attitude is not necessary and if you read what I promised in the log from May, I said I wanted to contribute and add figures that I felt should have a profile as they are actively working. I have had some requests from general public to write about certain people. This is not a paid edits nor do I know this artists first hand. You have made a clear assumption going off the logs from May. If you read what my username description states, my goals is to write about aspects of pop culture, entertainment and ASIAN artists in the industry as there is a huge void when it comes to these artists being given the credit when needed. I will not apologies for that, I would appreciate it you would remove this block and allow me to continue work that does not go against any of wikipedias policies. Thank you. to add onto your admin only viewable link which I can easily guess what it reads, you will also notice that I explained the reason for me writing this in May. I thought that in order for me to create something I simply had to just write something that sounded official. As I was researching KOiNCYDENCE at the time, Leokocre8tive was a website I viewed a lot and found some information on for this artist. Was it a correct thing to write as my user profile description? NO! However this issue was disgussed and I was allowed back on. Maybe take into consideration that when I was explaining my intentions to other admins I used another artist called Alex Ko as an example of how I would change his information. This was simply because as I researched KOiNCYDENCE who's real name is Alexander Ko the broadway dancer Alex Ko kept coming up so naturally I used him as an example. I do not feel its a coincidence its all related and relevant to what I was researching at the time, once again this does not prove that I know this artist or that I am breaking any of the wikipedia rules/ policies. The article I wrote for KOiNCYDENCE is informative, unbiase and the only thing it 'promotes' is his past works. There are no links directing people to social media or music platforms. I do not see any issue

Decline reason:

Even if you aren't engaged in paid editing(which I'm not sure of), you seem to be here for promotional purposes("there is a huge void when it comes to these artists being given the credit when needed"). This isn't social media to merely tell the world about artists. I think now to be unblocked you will need to agree to not edit (at least) about musicians at all. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 07:56, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
