The article OMAC Industries has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 17:59, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Er O.k,...

The only reason I added it was because it is linked to two articles on wiki: Nationstates and Nationstates 2 but clearly a different subject; since they are a company looking to be involved in other games. They are notable by their existence, what else is there?

  • Nope, there's no such thing as "notable by their existence" on Wikipedia. Notability must be shown through reliable independent sources. The two cites you gave were both to the company's own website; thus, you haven't shown independent recognition of the company as notable per WP:CORP. NawlinWiki (talk) 18:11, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

right... I'll believe you.AP3 10 (talk) 19:37, 12 Dec 2010 (UTC) Two years on that seems more reasonable. Thanks for your speedy response!

Speedy deletion of NationStates 2[edit]

Hello AP3 10, this is a message from an automated bot to inform you that the page you created, NationStates 2, has been marked for speedy deletion by User:Wyatt Riot. This has been done because the page seems to be about a person, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant (see CSD). If you think the tag was placed in error, please add "{{hangon}}" to the page text, and edit the talk page to explain why the page should not be deleted. If you have a question about this bot, please ask it at User talk:SDPatrolBot II. If you have a question for the user who tagged the article, see User talk:Wyatt Riot. AfD nomination of NationStates 2[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is NationStates 2. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/NationStates 2. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:10, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the notification.

Hey! Based on your edits to NationStates, I thought maybe you would be interested that I started a series of userboxes for the game. Feel free to add any or add your own!-🐦Do☭torWho42 () 05:45, 16 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
