Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text

{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.

 Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 12:20, 13 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Alexander Johnson (businessman), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ... discospinster talk 19:04, 15 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Where is Draft Space so I can edit the text and view review the article again?(ATAVLATIN (talk) 14:41, 16 March 2019 (UTC)).[reply]

Just click on the link that says Alexander M. Johnson above. ... discospinster talk 18:32, 16 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Thank you for your help, I wanted to ask if you could maybe check the references I added to see if these are ok and if I need to add more references or more information. Also I wanted to change the article's title ( its a small change). Let me know if you can guide me through this. Thank you once again. (ATAVLATIN (talk) 11:56, 18 March 2019 (UTC))[reply]

The references given don't really show how he's notable by Wikipedia criteria. They are mostly directory listings and promotional content that he has written himself. There needs to be significant discussion of the individual in multiple independant reliable sources. For example, newspaper or magazine articles about him, not ones that just mention him. ... discospinster talk 14:32, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Stevey7788 for your explanation. I will add the references accordingly. I just wanted to know what part of the content of my article needs these secondary, independent sources? If it is posible for you to specify. Also, how long do i have to do this edit?(ATAVLATIN (talk) 11:10, 20 March 2019 (UTC))[reply]

Independent sources

[edit]

Hi ATAVLATIN, please see Wikipedia:Identifying and using independent sources and other Wikipedia policies.

You will need to cite sources that are independent of the subject. Profile pages can be supplemental references, but they don't count as primary references demonstrating notability because anyone can write them up. All the sources you've used look like they could have been written by the subject (Johnson) himself. Short descriptions about speaking events, official profiles, and the IMDb aren't sufficient. Notable press mentions from notable newspapers and magazines would be recommended. If you don't have those, then consider achieving external notability first before getting on Wikipedia. — Stevey7788 (talk) 13:35, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft will be around for 90 days. Use a sandbox or user page if you want to keep it for longer for editing. — Stevey7788 (talk) 19:34, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Stevey7788, if you don't mind, I would like to keep in touch because I want to make sure the article is perfect before sending it for review again. I hope you don't mind me asking a few questions on some of the references, external links and content. Thanks again.(ATAVLATIN (talk) 11:34, 21 March 2019 (UTC))[reply]
