A tag has been placed on Draft:Noah Nnaemeka Abba, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Hello AaishaAfzaal. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Noah Nnaemeka Abba, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:AaishaAfzaal. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=AaishaAfzaal|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 18:35, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet[edit]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:Modon1021 per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Modon1021. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  The WordsmithTalk to me 00:26, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I do not think, there is a point to blocked indefinitely from editing and creating new pages. I have made significant edits which no one challenged over the originality, accuracy, and authenticity.
However I tried to create pages for rising stars (less known people), just a draft for Noah Nnaemeka Abba which I aim to continually develop until reach significant recognition and then publish, but even the draft was deleted. Furthermore, in case of Eric Nofsinger who has considerable coverage from various sources was also declined. AaishaAfzaal (talk) 01:58, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I am writing to appeal my indefinite block from editing, which was imposed due to allegations of abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:Modon1021. I respectfully disagree with this characterization and believe that there has been a misunderstanding of my actions.

Throughout my time on Wikipedia, I have made significant contributions to various articles, ensuring originality, accuracy, and authenticity. These contributions have not been challenged by the community, highlighting the quality of my work and adherence to Wikipedia's guidelines.
I would like to address the specific instances mentioned in the block notice. Firstly, regarding my attempts to create pages for rising stars such as Noah Nnaemeka Abba, I would like to clarify that these were drafts aimed at continual development until they reached a level of significant recognition worthy of publication. Unfortunately, these drafts were deleted before they could be fully realized.
Similarly, I attempted to create a page for Eric Nofsinger, a notable individual with considerable coverage from reputable sources. Despite the verifiable information provided, the page creation was declined.
Moving forward, I am committed to abiding by Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I understand the importance of transparency, notability, and verifiability in all contributions made to the platform. My intention is to contribute positively to the community by filling gaps in information, especially in areas of my expertise and interest where notable information may be lacking.
I respectfully request that my block be reconsidered, and I assure you of my dedication to upholding Wikipedia's standards in all future edits and contributions. Thank you for taking the time to review my appeal.AaishaAfzaal (talk) 02:16, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I wanted to contribute to Wikipedia, blocking indefinitely is really disappointing. I have made significant edits, but I think made a mistake in creating the page about Noah Nnaemeka Abba. However, I wrote about Eric Nofsinger who had a reasonable coverage in online sources, but I do not have any association with the User:Modon1021. I do not have any other account and am independently writing and editing on Wikipedia which I wish to continue. It is needed to revise the decision and allowing me to be the part of Wikipedia community. Thank you.

Decline reason:

Checkuser data is  Inconclusive in this case. AaishaAfzaal, you need to directly address the findings at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Modon1021. You haven't even mentioned the suspicion of WP:UPE. Nor does WP:MEAT require that you have more than one account. There's clearly a relationship of some sort between both accounts, as outlined in the sockpuppet investigation. Yamla (talk) 11:37, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
