Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, club, organization, company, or website - I have blocked this account. Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a change of username of your current account here. The new username must represent only yourself as an individual and comply with Wikipedia's username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text

{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.

 Thank you. Beeblebrox (talk) 21:40, 29 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

I have renamed your account; since this was only a username block, I will remove it. However- I see you declared a COI. If you are employed by or are otherwise compensated by Emtrain, you must make the stricter paid editing declaration, a Terms of Use requirement. Please do so. 331dot (talk) 09:33, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Emtrain moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Emtrain, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. – bradv🍁 04:01, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Deb. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.

Deb (talk) 18:37, 13 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I thought this page was deleted. Was it? If not, would like to have the opportunity to improve on it to make it not come across as promotional.

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Aamat-webeditor, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Aamat-webeditor|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. 331dot (talk) 13:48, 18 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Please understand that Wikipedia is not a place for companies to tell the world about themselves and what they do. That is considered promotional here, you don't have to be soliciting customers or selling something. A Wikipedia article must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the company- and not based on materials put out by the company or its associates like interviews/press releases/annoucements of routine activities- showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. Wikipedia is not interested in what a company says about itself, only in what others completely unconnected with the company have chosen to say about it. In essence, you need to set aside everything you know about the company and only write based on the content of independent reliable sources. That's usually very difficult for those in your position to do, though not impossible. Please read Your First Article.
You and your company may want to understand that a Wikipedia article is not necessarily desirable. There are good reasons to not want one. 331dot (talk) 17:35, 18 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Totally understood. We're working on a new draft with the above mentioned in mind. Of course, I'll be making sure to follow the procedures, edits, and the such to get it properly approved. Many thanks and will be posting the draft for review soon! Aamat-webeditor (talk) 18:56, 18 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
