Bosnian War
[edit]Hi. Regarding this recent edit that you made to Bosnian War, can I advise you to have a read of WP:VERIFY? Adding claims about ethnic cleansing without citing sources probably isn't a good idea, as such issues tend to be understandably controversial. Please feel free to add the material again once you have found a suitable source or sources. Cordless Larry (talk) 10:32, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks. I sort of knew that that edit would not have held water without a relevant reference, and I understand the sensitivity surrounding the issue, particularly if it appears to be plucked out of the sky! I'll be sure to back it up soon. Aardwolf A380 (talk) 10:40, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
- As a rule, I try not to add anything to Wikipedia without citing a source. That way, you don't have to make a decision about whether something is controversial enough to need one or not, and you're less likely to be challenged and have to go hunting for one later. Cordless Larry (talk) 11:26, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
- You're welcome. Look, I know this article can be painful, especially to anyone connected with it -- don't know if you are or not. But you have to provide reliable sources for your edits. Yours, Quis separabit? 23:01, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
- thanks. I'll take all this advice on board for now on!
Reference to Antisemitism in History
[edit]You've 'fixed' too much: you should not have replaced '=' with {{=}} in 'url=', because that was a separator between the parameter name (url) and the parameter value (http:/...). Only the '=' in the value needed replacing.
Additionaly, the template name 'cite web' was split with a newline. Fixed now. [1]
