Welcome![edit]

Hello, Nickels Creative Director, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Nicholas King (creative director), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. October 2019[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Nickels Creative Director", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it implies you are someone you are not. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. creffett (talk) 22:36, 8 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I apologies for the confusion as I thought my username should reflect the article I would create. I understood that self-promotion is banned in Wikipedia and I was not making any self-promotion nor I will do it again. I will rather contribute to many other articles related to my interest... Nickels Creative Director (talk) 05:53, 9 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You will not be unblocked to write about that subject. Is there another subject area you'd like to write about? If so, tell us what that is. Yamla (talk) 12:57, 9 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Yamla, I already clearly mentioned that I won't be doing it and I would rather contribute in other articles. At this moment, I would make edits on existing pages instead of creating new pages. Aaronk881 (talk) 13:35, 9 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

So are you Nicholas King? 331dot (talk) 09:33, 9 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

No, I am not Nicholas King. Aaronk881 (talk) 13:28, 9 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

To any other admins, it's going to be awhile before I come back today; feel free to take action on this without waiting for me. 331dot (talk) 11:17, 9 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
