Answer to an e-mail send from Wikipedia[edit]

Hello,

You send me an e-mail about the mention in the article Bring radical of your work on quintic equations, published in arXiv.

I answer here because anything related to Wikipedia edition is better discussed in Wikipedia talk pages.

Per the policy WP:OR, every mathematical result that is mentioned must be published in an established mathematical journal. Moreover, this is not sufficient, as the result must have been discussed in independent sources (this is for establishing the notability of the result).

Your article still being at the stage of a pre-publication, it has no chance of being accepted in a short future in Wikipedia.

By the way, I have had a quick look on the article. IMO, it is far to be ready for publication. At least, it lacks of explanation of the context, that is, the motivation for considering this approach and the mention of related works (there is very few recent papers in the bibliography). If there is no recent related work, this must be quoted, and an explanation must be suggested.

Also, the fast convergence suggests that your method could be a variant of Newton's method. This must be investigated.

However these two remarks result form a very quick look, that is so short that I am not sure of the pertinence of my remarks.
