Naming articles

[edit]

In the future, do not use "maulana" in the titles of the articles (as in Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi. Just use the name. President George W. Bush redirects to George W. Bush, Prince Charles redirects to Charles, Prince of Wales and Queen Victoria redirects to Victoria of the United Kingdom. Pepsidrinka 05:37, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Mufti Zar Wali Khan

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Mufti Zar Wali Khan, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

No reliable sources indicating notability. Seems like a violation of WP:NPOV, and has been tagged for references for a year and a half. If this person was notable, it would have been established by now. In addition, the language it is written in is mostly indecipherable to me, making it very hard to evaluate if there is, indeed, something notable that just isn't referenced.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. -Lilac Soul (talk contribs count) 09:45, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dear friend,

You seem to be an active Wikipedian from Pakistan. We have an Urdu Wikipedia that needs all the help that it can get. Currently, we do not have many active users and we will really appreciate if you would consider becoming an active contributor. As you are already familiar with Wikipedia's style and rules, your presence would also help elevate the overall content quality.

Hope to see you soon at Urdu Wikipedia
