Dear sir,
I am writing to you because I came across a problem with creating a wikipedia article. Recently I wrote two articles: "ReaSoft Converter" and "PDF Printer ReaSoft". Both of the articles have been speedy deleted, because "they seem to be blatant advertising ". However, I tried to dispute that fact with the editor on the articles talk pages, but he/she didn't reply or whatever. I believe that those two articles don't promote or advertise that products, I reviewed them several times and excluded all the facts that may be treated as advertising. They are both of informative kind, not promotive. However, while searching Wikipedia I saw several articles which may seem akin to those that I tried to post. (this one, for example - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FinePrint) Please assist me with solving this problem.

NYC Meetup: June 1, 2008

New York City Meetup

In the afternoon, we will hold a session dedicated to meta:Wikimedia New York City activities, elect a board of directors, and hold salon-style group discussions on Wikipedia and the other Wikimedia projects (see the last meeting's minutes).
We'll also review our recent Wikipedia Takes Manhattan event, and make preparations for our exciting successor Wiki Week bonanza, being planned with Columbia University students for September or October.
In the evening, we'll share dinner and chat at a local restaurant, and (weather permitting) hold a late-night astronomy event at Columbia's telescopes.

2]How do I ask for someone to check whether articles marked for cleanup are good enough to be removed from the "requiring cleanup" list?

One of the problems with having a username beginning with A is that you're at the top of the Adopters list. Still, after reviewing some of your edits, and what you seem to do around here, I was hoping you might adopt me. I added a bit of info about myself on my user page. WHAT Wikis Take Manhattan is a scavenger hunt and free content photography contest aimed at illustrating Wikipedia and StreetsWiki articles covering sites and street features in Manhattan and across the five boroughs of New York City. The event is based on last year's Wikipedia Takes Manhattan, and has evolved to include StreetsWiki this year as well.
LAST YEAR'S EVENT
- Wikipedia:Wikipedia Takes Manhattan/Spring 2008 (a description of the results, and the uploading party)
- Commons:Wikipedia Takes Manhattan/Gallery (our cool gallery)
WINNINGS? Prizes include a dinner for three with Wikipedia creator Jimmy Wales at Pure Food & Wine, gift certificates to Bicycle Habitiat and the LimeWire Store, and more!
WHEN The hunt will take place Saturday, September 27th from 1:00pm to 6:30pm, followed by prizes and celebration.
WHO All Wikipedians and non-Wikipedians are invited to participate in team of up to three (no special knowledge is required at all, just a digital camera and a love of the city). Bring a friend (or two)!
REGISTER The proper place to register your team is here. It's also perfectly possible to register on the day of when you get there, but it will be slightly easier for us if you register beforehand.
WHERE Participants can begin the hunt from either of two locations: one at Columbia University (at the sundial on college walk) and one at The Open Planning Project's West Village office. Everyone will end at The Open Planning Project:
- 349 W. 12th St. #3
- Between Greenwich & Washington Streets
- By the 14th St./8th Ave. ACE/L stop

People ganging up to disrupt an article
Hi,
I found you at Wikipedia:Editor assistance. If you can spare a few minutes of your time helping out at Indo-Aryan loanwords in Tamil, I would be thankful.
I am developing an article on words borrowed by Tamil from Indo-Aryan languages. I am citing a standard authoritative lexicon from which I find the words that are borrowed before including them at Indo-Aryan loanwords in Tamil. There are a few people who seem to be intent in damaging the article by adding "cite" tags, "disputed" and "dubious" tags for the article and threatening to delete it within 24 hours.
Could you please help?

Abeg92, please adopt me! I am a lonly user and I want to find vandalised pages and revert the bad edits. Trouble is, I can't find any! So my reasons to get adopted are:
1. I am lonly. 2.I need help finding vandalised pages to either revert bad edits, or if there is continued vandalisam to put on the Articles For Deletion page.
