[edit]Thank you for your edit [1]. Would you be able to upload a copy of the source article to Wikipedia as a readable image for reference? As it is an old article, I don't think that would be a copyright violation but the people at image uploading would determine that. Bob K31416 (talk) 16:01, 11 January 2022 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading the copy. Sorry that I hadn't responded earlier but I was waiting for something on your talk page about it. I just came across your upload today when I looked at your contribution list.
There were a couple of things that maybe you could help with. 1) The source article was dated 1865 instead of 1863. Was this a typo in the printing back then or was there some other reason for the discrepancy? 2) Do you have a source for, "Shortly after the beginning of the American Civil War, Cardozo began teaching in Staten Island, New York at the segregated school in Stapleton."?
