Hi, Abhattachar, Welcome to Wikipedia!

Hello, salut, privjet, nihao, anyeong haseyo, konnichiwa, hola, salaam, ciao, and hi! Welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you enjoy the encyclopedia and want to stay. Before getting too in-depth, you may want to read about the simplified ruleset. If you need help on how to title new articles check out the naming conventions, and for help on formatting the pages visit the manual of style. If you need help look at Wikipedia:Help and the FAQ; plus, if you can't find your answer there, check the Village Pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions). And if you have any more questions, feel free to post them on my user talk page or add {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will be by to help you shortly. Also, don't forget to visit the directory of portals where you're sure to find an interesting topic!

Additional tips

[edit]

Here are some extra tips to help you get around in Wikipedia:

  • If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills or test Wiki markup, then the Sandbox is for you. On this page, you can make whatever edits you like.
  • You should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~).
  • You may want to add yourself to the new user log.
  • If you want to customize your user page, then check out the large collection of userboxes.
  • If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted.
  • If you're still entirely confused, or would like to get a better grasp of your wikipedia skills, and you have an IRC client (or don't mind getting one), check out the Bootcamp. It's not what it sounds like, but it is fun and can help you with your editing skills.

Nomination of North American Bengali Conference for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article North American Bengali Conference is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/North American Bengali Conference until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. - Jayanta Nath (Talk|Contrb) 21:46, 25 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, NABC Covid and Amphan Care Concert - Hope 2020, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello, Abhattachar. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "NABC Covid and Amphan Care Concert - Hope 2020".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 13:46, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
