"Is the policy on Wikipedia that we should only show the pronunciation of natives of a place?"

It's not only the pronunciation of "natives of [that] place." It is used by all Canadians and by visitors from elsewhere the moment they hear the correct one. It is the English pronunciation; of course it's not the RC liturgical pronunciation, but it was certainly that of Princess Louise when she renamed Buffalo Bones for her mother in 1882, there already being too many Victorias in the British Empire for there to be another.
