A belated welcome!

[edit]
Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Accubam. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! Chuckiesdad/Talk/Contribs 02:43, 4 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to Maverick (film)‎ does not have an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! Not only are they helpful, but edit summaries reassure reviewers that you did not make an editing mistake or unintentionally remove content—and that you are not a vandal. I am reverting this edit because it is not clearly an improvement.EncMstr (talk) 22:36, 4 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Stars in film infoboxes

[edit]

Please do not add actors to the "Starring" field who are not billed above the title in a film's billing, with the exception of those who are billed as "and" after the title. Another exception can be made for actors who were not billed as stars because they were unknowns at the time, but who play the leading role or "walked away" with the film, and became a star because of it. Normally, though, only those actors listed above the film's title are considered to be stars. Thanks, Beyond My Ken (talk) 03:22, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries

[edit]

Greetings, User Accubam. Perhaps you are unfamiliar with Wikipedia convention, but it is regarded as good practice to always provide edit summaries when you make changes to articles or Talk pages. Good luck with this, and welcome to the encyclopedia. Yours, Wikiuser100 (talk) 00:09, 22 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve I Shot a Man in Vegas

[edit]

Hi, I'm Sumanah. Accubam, thanks for creating I Shot a Man in Vegas!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Can you add details about how critics commented on this movie when it came out?

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

The article Treat 'Em Rough (1919 film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced stub that does not indicate notability. IMDb is not a reliable source. You could pack the contents of this into a hatnote.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
