I see you are adding and updating external links to the Historical Society of Montgomery County Illinois. The link looks of interest, and I want to thank you for your contributions.

Could you also have a look at this guideline?

I also would like to ask you to contact a suitable WikiProject, WikiProjects are places where editors with common interests come together and discuss. They might be interested in the information, and I expect them to be especially interested in information that is on the server, but which is not covered on Wikipedia (yet). You can find a list via here: Wikipedia:WikiProject.

Another thing I would like to ask you is if you could check whether the information that is available on the site, but which is not covered in the (already existing) Wikipedia article, or where the information can be used to source the information on Wikipedia. In that case, you might want to expand the article and/or add the link as a reference in stead of an external link. For more information, see the citation guideline and the footnotes guideline.

Happy editing, and if you have further questions, don't hesitate to ask me. --Dirk Beetstra T C 11:49, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the 'warnings', though I feel I thoroughly explained my meaning there. I am sorry if you feel bitten, and I feel you should also read the rest of the message I left you. --Dirk Beetstra T C 14:55, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
