Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited United States presidential election in Alabama, 1980, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Edward Clark (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hey

[edit]

Hey, Aclany! Thanks for nominating Lol by Samuel for deletion. Just so you know, though, there are speedy deletion tags that can be used in cases like this, where the article is clearly not a good-faith attempt at writing a real article. I ended up choosing to delete the article under the G2 criterion for pages made to test editing functions (erring on the side of good faith), but it could've been nominated under things like A3 (article with no real content) or even G3 (just plain vandalism). Anyway, no big deal; sending things to AfD is perfectly fine regardless. It's just that the others might be a shortcut in the process. :) Thanks! Writ Keeper  23:39, 17 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Aclany. Do you have a source for the figures for this edit? I'm concerned that you may have just calculated the % from the total figure, which would be incorrect if there were any blank/invalid votes. Cheers, Number 57 13:48, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I would appreciate some time to finish writing the article before a decision is made to delete it! I started working on it about 5 minutes before you nominated it for deletion. Thank You.

Non-free content

[edit]

Hiya. I think your image swap at Sith with Palpatine is fine. However, be sure in the future that any use of non-free content has a distinct "non-free content rationale," usually one per article. I created one for this additional use of the Palpatine picture. --EEMIV (talk) 16:16, 25 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
