Nope. No Muslim. No religion at all, actually. I'm not even from the region. But I am very interested in rebellion in the Middle East and everything connected to it, since the Middle East is literally the motor of the world. Oil is the motor of every economy anywhere, and that's why the money hungry capitalists will do the worst things necessary to control the Middle East: trampling on human rights, supporting repressive regimes, feeding hate among Arabs, or invading and taking over and instigating clashes between Alevi, Sunni, Shii, Kurds. VWN en WCN[edit]

Beste allemaal Al enige tijd is er een Nederlandstalig chapter in oprichting, te vinden op http://nl.wikimedia.org . Dit wordt de Vereniging Wikimedia Nederland (VWN). Je kunt je interesse om lid te worden van deze vereniging hier aangeven.

Deze vereniging gaat eind augustus/begin september een Wikimedia Conferentie in Nederland (WCN) houden, volgend op Wikimania in Boston, gedeeltelijk erop inspelend middels een aantal discussiegroepen. Om iets dergelijks te organiseren is imput erg gewenst. Dus als je wilt meehelpen, of als je interesse hebt om bij een dergelijk evenement aanwezig te zijn, geef dat dan aan op nl.wikimedia. Anarchism template[edit]

I pulled up the image in Internet Explorer (I normally use Mozilla Firefox), and I didn't see the elements that you described. Seems to look all right to me, even when compared side-by-side with the template on Christian anarchism. So I don't know. I didn't see anything unusual in IE or Mozilla. Attacking Vietnam, Somalia, Nicaragua, Iraq is "common defense"[edit]

You really need to read the Constitution of the United States. In this case the applicable portion is Article I which calls for the "raising and supporting of armies" for the "common defense" of the United States. You may disagree with how they are currently being used, but that doesn't affect that the process of recruiting is mandated by the Constitution and a vital part of the long term survival of our nation. To oppose recruitment for short term reasons that could affect the long term needs of our nation seems short sighted.

ActiveSelective, Not a great retort. Your inability to address my comments shows the weakness in your position. Also, Code Pink has no idea^{[citation needed]} if the $600,000 worth of supplies went to civilians or to support the insurgency effort. Insurgents do not wear uniforms so you don't know who they are, nor did she. In addition, there was no monitoring of the distribution of supplies.^{[citation needed]} They just dumped the supplies and left with no checks and balances to ensure the supplies did not end up with insurgents. Have a nice day.

Re:Civilians[edit]

The displaced isn't the issue. The numbers for dead and wounded are not for civilians alone, but are cumulative for military/Hezbollah personnel. I'm not sure that anyone would think the displaced wouldn't refer to civilians, but if you like you can add that word after "displaced." I appreciate your engagement in Talk.
