Image Tagging Midnight Oil

[edit]

Hey Adam, thanks for reminding me to put a copy tag on my image,http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Oils_Alive_Again_by_rakka_of_oz.jpg, I've done it now & removed the warning tag. rakkar 23:42, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A watered-down version of the proposed policy against censorship is now open for voting. Will you knidly review the policy and make your opinions known? Thank you very much. Loom91 10:29, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

hello Adam Clark theBlackbay here 

[edit]

Love the quote about an equal and opposite reaction i said this to a person on the B H Freedman page just weeks ago!

Help From fellow Wikipedians against censorship!

Thank you for your time I was wondering if i could ask your opinion?? :)

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/G. Edward Griffin here is the Article on G. Edward Griffin that I have just reconstructed and am still in the process of doing, But it's been put up for deletion?.

I was wondering if you could pitch in a comment in any direction you feel but I believe this man is very notable having Authored such books as The Creature from Jekyll Island a history of the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, but also many many more films as well, also being a member of many organisations.

Me being an inclusionist of sorts I would rather see changes made rather than a wholesale deletion, what do you think?

The man is very notable he has been doing this sort of work since the 60’s when he created the “The Capitalist Conspiracy” one of the first and most documented histories of Political Corruption in film that I know of.

Thank you for all your help, I’m just starting out in Wikipedia I have created the Benjamin H. Freedman, article and reconstructed the The Money Masters article and some others but I need help here! Any help of mine you may need or want in any regard in the future just ask :)

Also any contribution you would like to make to improve the article please consider!

Really i wouldn't ask if i did not really think this article worthy.

What do I do? I didn't violate copyright!

[edit]

Hi, Back in March 2006 you stated that I had violated a copyright for my Okapi3.JPG image. I did no such thing, as I had taken that picture while visiting the San Diego Zoo. But, I was not active from March to August, and I had no way of finding out that I had made a violation. So, how can I get my picture back up into the commons?

Question about a "work gallery"

[edit]

Adam, I noticed you were listed on the untagged images contributers list. This user User:Kingstonjr has this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Kingstonjr/Work_Gallery posted. I think it should be deleted, and several others have commented to this effect. Do you have any advice? Beatdown 19:03, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Logo Captions

[edit]

I would also like the style guideline for captions to be consistent with the guideline for logos instead of the present exception. I would appreciate your input here: Wikipedia talk:Captions#Logo captions. The suggested removal of the product logo caption exception was apparently forgotten or nobody had any problem with it, but I would like to clarify it so it does not continue to be a source of argument over what should be a clear application of policy. The logo guideline discussion has been archived: Wikipedia talk:Logos/Archive 1#Caption guidelines for logos.--In1984 22:01, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:ContiChiaTaiInternationalLogo.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:ContiChiaTaiInternationalLogo.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 05:24, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your user page

[edit]

I was just wondering why your user page was labeled as an "uncategorized template" when its not even a template at all. Since it doesn't look like you've been on a while I took it off. Mathman1550 (talk) 22:01, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, Adam Clark. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
