Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
uhhh check out my spiromimus page i guess???? Adharan (talk) 13:40, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please slow down

[edit]

Hello, I appreciate that you're trying to help here, I've checked out all your edits ... and while you've made some good ones (e.g. at Native cuisine of Hawaii), many of them are reckless or disruptive, especially your edits to the Wikipedia namespace (see my recent contributions involving your edits). If you keep up your current editing pattern, you may be blocked; Wikipedia doesn't have the resources to deal with your editing pattern. That said, you may be interested in WikiProject Astronomy, but university-level research is required here. Graham87 (talk) 16:31, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Rogue admin, please stop reverting for absolutely no reason. I only understand a few of your reverts, but IF YOU KEEP MAKING THESE THINGS, I WILL CONTACT THE OTHER ADMINS. Adharan (talk) 16:55, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I know you have done some other good edits before you went on this mindless rampage, but JUST STOP BITING ME. Adharan (talk) 17:06, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you want to friendly contact me that I've done something wrong, trout me. Adharan (talk) 17:07, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Give me an actual reason for why are you doing this revert rampage??? Adharan (talk) 17:09, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You said you were fixing cut and paste move. Please refrain from biting the newcomers for no reason. Yeah, and I'm still autoconfirmed, so that counts as a newcomer. Adharan (talk) 17:11, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

At least, don't be so fixated on one user! Adharan (talk) 17:16, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
My editing mentor is CanonNi. If you really don't want me to keep editing (even though I'm a newcomer), contact him on his talk page. Adharan (talk) 17:19, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
don't blame me because MOST OF THESE EDITS WERE NEWCOMER TASKS, AND I'VE CREATED 2 ARTHROPOD PAGES ALREADY.... uhh, I did a decent job at the Spiromimus page. The Spiromanes page is pretty barebones, but it's fine at least. Adharan (talk) 17:22, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
if you really hate an editor than just DON'T ENGAGE WITH IT Adharan (talk) 17:23, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Or I can just block you, now that I've found this rant. Done. You're clearly not here for the right reasons. Graham87 (talk) 17:27, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]
Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Graham87 (talk) 17:27, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I accidentally violated the policy, and definitely not intentionally. I also made these in good faith. Also, I got mad ONLY BECAUSE you just went straight to reverting almost every single edit I made. Newcomers make mistakes, and blunders. Adharan (talk) 17:36, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Only one open appeal at a time please.-- Ponyobons mots 20:12, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Some of your above rant makes no sense whatsoever, like "You said you were fixing cut and paste move." ... when I have never said any such thing to you. I will leave the job of drawing further fconclusions from it to other admins. Graham87 (talk) 17:40, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Defense: It says that on your user page. Adharan (talk) 18:35, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Regardless, you're a good person for all of your other contributions, but at least give a reason for why you reverted all these changes rather than a simple but overly condescending "you shouldn't be doing this". Adharan (talk) 18:40, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you had a good edit summary for your reversions, none of this would happen. Adharan (talk) 18:46, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
At least Ponyo is an admin that I can trust, he settled it for me, but does he at least deal with Graham? Adharan (talk) 06:08, 14 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well, as far as I know, he abused his reverting privileges and tricked me into reverting back, therefore counting as an edit war, therefore banning me, and also making me angry enough to start a giant rant over it that probably was one of the other reasons. Adharan (talk) 06:16, 14 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
These are definitely not sockpuppet accounts; they were created before all this happened. Adharan (talk) 10:47, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I know I did something wrong, and I won't do it again. Adharan (talk) 18:52, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

A certain level of competence is required to edit this project, and your replies here are concerning. I also note your creation and use of multiple undisclosed accounts, including User:Rhubarb9 and User:Helicopter Helicopter Helicopter, which I've now blocked. [These are past accounts, and also, my blocking reason CLEARLY follows the blocking policy article (I've already read guide for block appeal).

Adharan (talk) 6:04, 14 August 2024 (UTC) Ok, at least you're a good admin, and I know the debate has been settled, but did you at least deal with Graham? He just overuses rollback for absolutely no reason just because.
