Little context in BCVO

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on BCVO, by Jac16888 (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because BCVO is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting BCVO, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 14:17, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Sekretariaat vir Volksbou, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Sekretariaat vir Volksbou is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Sekretariaat vir Volksbou, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with Sekretariaat vir Volksbou. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Please don't remove the db-spam tag. If you don't want this article to be deleted, place the reason why the article isn't spam on the talk page. Thank you. Kannie | talk 17:43, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please provide a source for your changes in numbers. The provided source does support the old numbers, as long as no other source is given that can be the only version. Arnoutf (talk) 17:22, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please have a look at Wikipedia:Minor edits. Adding new information (like here) or removing sentences or even entire sections hardly constitute minor edits. These are edits that will very likely concern other editors, and some are sure to be challenged. Marking them as minor is, at best, unintentionally misleading. Following the guidelines on minor edits, on the other hand, is a courtesy to others. 9Nak (talk) 06:14, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 15:48, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Racial Separatism vs Racial Supremacy, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit]

I have nominated Racial Separatism vs Racial Supremacy, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Racial Separatism vs Racial Supremacy. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? 9Nak (talk) 13:41, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Conflicts of interest

[edit]

In addition to the above nomination for deletion, I have also marked two other articles you created as problematic due to a presumed conflict of interest. Both Jann Schlebusch and Distinctions in Neighbourly Love appear to be, substantially, about either your son or the son of the person whose name you chose to adopt as handle. If I am mistaken in that, please let me know. 9Nak (talk) 15:39, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Adi Schlebusch. You have new messages at 9Nak's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. 9Nak (talk) 17:09, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to White Hispanic and Latino Americans, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. SamEV (talk) 00:13, 31 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
