Neutral Perspective[edit]

Hi! I am a Deaf person myself with a strong background in Deaf culture. While I understand the urge to present biased information, especially during the excerpt related to how hearing people would approach deaf babies/people. I can't help but notice that the information presented is still biased, even though it shows a clear effort to be neutral. I would encourage you to expand more on the "surgery," since not every hearing people would know about cochlear implants. For example, you can expand more on why hearing people tend to advocate for cochlear implants while deaf people doesnt. I feel like this would be more informative but it would be neutral because both point of views would be shown. I also feel that this would be meaningful for someone who wants to learn more about Deaf culture.
