September 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Sundayclose. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Cognitive Abilities Test, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 04:26, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Aganguli20. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Riverside Insights, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 04:30, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Spam[edit]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Battelle Developmental Inventory, 3rd Edition (BDI-3). While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 18:31, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You did this twice at Cognitive Abilities Test. Please stop. Sundayclose (talk) 18:38, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. I am very new to Wikipedia, and I am not sure if I am commenting correctly. I am an intern at Riverside Insights and am fixing the wikipedia page for this company. I hope this message finds you well. Have a great day! :)

Conflict of interest[edit]

Are you in any way affiliated with Riverside Insights, including non-paid affiliation or involvement with any of its products other than end user? If you are, it still is possible for you to contribute to related articles, but you need to complete certain required processes on Wikipedia to do so. I can direct you to those processes if needed. Thanks. Sundayclose (talk) 18:34, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

On Wikipedia, refusing to communicate is not an option. Please respond the the above question or stop editing. Otherwise you could lose your editing privileges. Sundayclose (talk) 02:31, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Response to Sundayclose[edit]

Hi. I am very new to Wikipedia, and I am not sure if I am commenting correctly. I am an intern at Riverside Insights and am fixing the wikipedia page for this company. I hope this message finds you well. Have a great day! :)

Thanks for responding. You are required to disclose your conflict of interest. Please click the blue links about conflict of interest and disclosure in the above messages for how to do this. Except for minor changes (see WP:MINOR for an explanation), I strongly recommend that you discuss any proposed changes you wish to make to any article related to Riverside or its products on the article's talk page and allowing others to review the edits. If you have questions you can place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will come along to help. Also, be sure to sign your talk page comments (not article content) with four tildes (~~~~). Help me! I am new![edit]

Please help me with... I would like to know how I can request to make major changes to a particular article. I am very new to Wikipedia and am wondering what the easiest way to do this is. I would like to edit "Riverside Insights." Aganguli20 (talk) 19:03, 23 September 2020 (UTC) Aganguli20 (talk) 19:03, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As I noted above, first you are required to disclose your conflict of interest. As for the changes in an article, I strongly urge you to suggest your changes on the article's talk page and wait for others to comment. What is the article? Sundayclose (talk) 20:28, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You may wish to read about making formal edit requests to ensure that they are seen by other editors. If you have a COI, please disclose it. 331dot (talk) 21:31, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) After you write on your userpage the nature of your connection with the company, you may submit an edit request for Riverside Insights. Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 21:47, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
