[edit]Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Rhode Island Red (talk) 14:38, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Rhode Island Red: Avoid posting a generic warning template if you are actively involved in the edit war yourself; it can be seen as aggressive. Consider writing your own note to the user specifically appropriate for the situation, with a view to explicitly cooling things down.Manabimasu (talk) 16:57, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
- Edit warring without engaging on the Talk page is the problem; the template is simply a formality warning the user that if they continue to make the same edit without engaging or trying to gain consensus will lead to a block. That, and leaving a note on the article TPG is more than sufficient. Rhode Island Red (talk) 18:25, 31 July 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Suneye1. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, South India, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Disambiguation link notification for September 20
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Banking Regulation Act, 1949, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Moratorium. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:10, 20 September 2020 (UTC)

K. Narayan moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, K. Narayan, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. [edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Request reason:
I have understood that I have been blocked for causing disruptive editing especially to the 2021 West Bengal Legislative Assembly election page. I
assure you that I have gone through all the Wikipedia guidelines and understand my responsibility. I will not continue to cause disruptive edits knowingly and shall make productive contributions only. Here on I will not edit any page without proper source and not revert previous edits without any good explanations. I will make sure I substantiate my edits in the summary box. Here on I will make sure that I do not flout any copyright norms and edit with complete cautiousness about the India-Pakistan topic area. I request you to unblock me as I have familiarised myself with the wiki guidelines and understood my mistake. Please consider my apologies.
