Dvorak[edit]

Hi, I see this link: [[1]] you suggested on dvorak talk: [[2]] that you have written, has been added to DSK immediately below a similar program [[3]]. I'm not here to dispute it's relevance, I'm just wandering, is it any different to the program above? Please reply to my talk: martianlostinspace 15:53, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. It just could have been quicker access to changing keyboards, rather than to the actual file. I rarely assume anything!martianlostinspace 16:03, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

And on a marginally separate topic, the United States-Dvorak with Qwerty-based Modifier Key support you mention on DSK talk-- is it another keyboard that can be accessed from the XP control panel-- basically with shortcut support? (If it is, I'll be using it - I just like to know what I'm installing first!) Thanks martianlostinspace 16:20, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You're very clear - and thanks for the keyboard, shortcuts always were a pain in the backside!martianlostinspace 17:25, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Added. Sorry about the name change (rv if you wish) I just think my variation is a little more succinct, nor did I know what a "modifier key" was. Perhaps we could have an introduction page outside wikipedia? I have added a little to the talk page.martianlostinspace 17:14, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 21:20, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Erratic section title hierarchy practice[edit]

Thanks and sorry. Not sure if it was sticky keys or just a brief occurrence of ignorance and lack of attention. Looks proper now. Thanks again.Lostinlodos (talk) 21:22, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dvorak Photo[edit]

It was the first link I'd changed, so I was glad it worked and that it would help the next person who wanted to see the photo. Thanks for telling me about the link originally working when you set it up. I guess that falls in the category of "Stuff Happens." And so it does! It's nice to hear back from someone on one of my edits, so thanks for taking the time (says I on my Dvorak keyboard). Tweedly-dee (talk) 19:15, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for February 18[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mustafa Centre, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Foreign exchange. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Recommendation[edit]

I recommend that you drive a less flashy car if you are to be an effective spy. Consider a Ford Mondeo, BMW 320i, etc. Sandra opposed to terrorism (talk) 22:44, 17 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thank you for this edit of yours, but WP:FILMPLOT says that the plot should be between 400 and 700 words. So, can you please make it concise by writing it within the word limit? Thanks a lot in advance! Vivek Ray (talk) 17:28, 12 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for March 4[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited T.G.I.S., you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tagalog (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
