A tag has been placed on User:AH UDelLib, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Glaisher [talk] 17:38, 25 July 2013 (UTC)

Contested deletion

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... it's not to advertise for my organization, but simply to declare my organizational affiliation up front. Nothing in my user page is outside the constraints in the first two bullets of WP:UPYES --AH UDelLib (talk) 18:09, 25 July 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Marquess of Ailesbury may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Information Professional entry

Hello AH UDelLib,

I have just edited the entry for Information Professional, by adding a lot of content, references, and a globalised view of the subject. I notice that the old article is rated as "Stub" and the importance is "Low". The article is not a stub anymore, and given the fact that the term Information Professional is an integral part of Library and Information Science (LIS) in recent years, I believe the article should have a "B" quality marking and importance set to at least "High", given that the term is now used worldwide.

Could you please advise me as to how I could go about having this article reassessed for quality within the WikiProject Libraries? If you agree with my comments, would you be able to reassess and re-mark it?

Many thanks, MargRouk (talk) 19:38, 18 June 2014 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Category:WikiProject Colored Conventions articles requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! TJ Klune moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, TJ Klune, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
