Welcome[edit]

Hello Aiden nisbett and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your contributions, such as the ones to John Herron (footballer), do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox (but beware that the contents of the sandbox are deleted frequently) rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! Eagleash (talk) 20:57, 18 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please note, only league statistics appear in the infobox: This is made clear in the note at the bottom of the panel. Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 20:57, 18 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

John Herron[edit]

I don’t have a relation to shop with him but if you are a fan of football like myself and follow a load of people and there careers you will see the info on John Herron is incorrect I posted links to go and prove it’s wrong and still yous continue to allow them to be changed Aiden nisbett (talk) 12:38, 30 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Herron[edit]

Hi Aidan, it's good to hear that you're interested in improving articles however, there were a few issues with the edit that I reverted. Firstly, on Wikipedia, a players' infobox is for league statistics only, not all competitions as you appeared to add. Secondly, Transfermarkt is not deemed a reliable source due to it being partly user generated. I hope this helps, if you have any further questions drop me a message. Herron[edit]

Transfer market is pretty much very accuracy’s because I know at first hand that a lot of clubs use that to regards players I usto back in the late 80s up untill the late 90s work in the agency buisness and I have friends who also still do and use that so that’s all I was updating them from that. Also I don’t understand why Wikipedia don’t add all appearances I think that would be more what the people are interested in and wanting to know hence why I added all competition appearances. Thanks kiosk nice speaking think we have an understanding here at what’s best thanks again Aiden Aiden nisbett (talk) 23:22, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
