An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Hartford Patriots. Since you had some involvement with the Hartford Patriots redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you wish to do so. signed, Rosguill talk 07:56, 4 September 2019 (UTC)

Reverted edits

Hi, why have you reverted my edits on the /e/OS wikipedia page? The first one is just adding references to what was in the text already (the 3 founding articles for this project). It's not spam, it's not unreliable sources. The second was to explain better what this project concept is, because it's not only an operating system, it's also a set of onlines services: "proposed the concept of a mobile ecosystem including an operating system and dedicated online services ". It's not spam, I just want to improve the article and be factual :-/ Indidea (talk) 19:23, 5 September 2019 (UTC)

Hi @Indidea:, and welcome to Wikipedia. You may wish to read our policies on external links and references. As ToBeFree said, you should not link to your personal websites, or websites you are associated with. Also blogs are not usually reliable sources, see WP:BLOGS. So per WP:RS, they should not be used as a reference. Thanks. Masum Reza📞 19:58, 5 September 2019 (UTC)

TV SERIES EDITING

Can you suggest me some helpsites for editing television series !!!! --Momrockzz (talk) 12:50, 6 September 2019 (UTC)Momrockzz

Hi Momrockzz, and welcome to Wikipedia. For starters, you may wish to go through to new user tutorial. Many users who have completed it, said that it was very helpful to them. We have a WikiProject especially for improving television related articles. See WP:WikiProject TV. You can find more information there. Just always remember to cite your sources and write articles in a neutral point of view. Again, welcome. :) Masum Reza📞 13:26, 6 September 2019 (UTC)

Just a tip:

The IQ 137 thing on your infobox may seem "cringy" to some, you likely would benefit from removing it sooner rather than later. TryKid (talk) 18:07, 8 September 2019 (UTC)

I see.  Done I never thought of it as a private information nor something that may seem cringy. Masum Reza📞 18:25, 8 September 2019 (UTC)

@Thegooduser: Question: Are you "therealgooduser" who asked help on #wikipedia-en-help ? If so, you may want to register your nickname so that you prevent other users from using it. Sorry that Waggie couldn't help you. We don't really provide support for Huggle. I wish I could talk to you there, but I was AFK! Masum Reza📞 22:12, 8 September 2019 (UTC)

@Thegooduser: I see. Oh well, you might want to request an IRC cloak to hide your IP address. I also hope the Huggle issue gets resolved. Best wishes, Masum Reza📞 22:35, 8 September 2019 (UTC)

loudgain on ReplayGain page

Hi Masumrezarock100,

thanks for reviewing my addition on the ReplayGain page. I’m absolutely new to Wikipedia editing, so I might have made a mistake. Still I think loudgain should be mentioned there as a versatile ReplayGain tool, even if it’s quite new. I also prepared a "loudgain" page for review (in case you were deleting because of the missing page link).

Could you please let me knwo what I did wrong?

Thanks in advance

Moonbase59 (loudgain developer past v0.1) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Moonbase59 (talkcontribs) 13:58, 10 September 2019 (UTC)

@Moonbase59: I apologize for the late response. I've been busy with real life. Your edits contained an external link to your github project. This is called spamming and self-promotion, both of which are not allowed on Wikipedia. I encourage you to read our notability criteria for software related topics. You are directly connected to Loudgain, this means that you have a conflict of interest and our policies require editors with COI to declare their employer or affiliation. It is strongly recommended that editors with COI not to write about things they are connected with and instead propose changes on the talk page. I hope you understand. Masum Reza📞 19:13, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
@Masumrezarock100: No problem. I know that being a developer can lead to being over-enthusiastic about one’s product. Then again, a declared a COI on my page and wrote the draft for a loudgain article which wasn’t negatively criticized (yet). The reasons I needed to write both the article and the link on the ReplayGain page myself were a) the developer knows most about the inner workings and options, b) on Linux, ReplayGain tools are rare and much sought, and c) I simply didn’t know anyone knowledgeable writing this article, so I try learning about Wikipedia editing and did it myself.
I also strongly feel this being of general interest (especially for Linux/MacOS users) and I think the language used is completely neutral. Also, I don’t benefit in any way, especially not financially, by writing articles and the software itself.
I would like to invite you to read my article draft and probably reconsider the removal. Thank you!

Locke Cole

Masum, I would ask you to consider not being the one to change tags on Locke Cole's file uploads. If you think that there are other files which should be deleted, well that's fair enough. But doing things like this given that you felt you were in a conflict bad enough to seek community involvement at ANI is not the best way to move productively forward with this. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 03:27, 26 September 2019 (UTC)

@Barkeep49: Hi, I saw those problematic tagging, so I reverted their edits. I saw that they added keep local tags to files blindly even to non-free files. So I removed those tags. Sorry if I was wrong. Masum Reza📞 07:31, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
