Information icon Hello, I'm Oshwah. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Fossil-fuel power station— because it didn’t appear appropriate for an article to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~ (talk) (contribs) 08:50, 8 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Aithiopis, and welcome. Not to pre-empt Oshwah, but I'll take the liberty of answering first. Your post was appropriate for a talk page but not for an article. For example, it says "Please Wikipedia, I'm a power engineer... please post this pertinent information", which is not appropriate to write inside an encyclopaedia article itself. It's also very colloquial language, with words like 'sorta' and is written from a first person perspective: "That's not my opinion", "I'm going to explain", "We generate industrial electricity". Perhaps you'd like to repost your message to the article's talk page and discuss there what's missing from the article in its current state. I hope you're not discouraged! From one power engineer to another, regards, —BillC talk 14:13, 8 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
