Could you make some track maps for this page? Maybe even a seasonal map. It's pretty much complete. Good kitty 21:56, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ajm, please don't bother. I'll be doing a bulk upload this weekend; to adjust things previously discussed and to add many more. As this is something that should be done with a bot flag I'll do it. However, if you want to have a go at the seasonal track be my guest ;)--Nilfanion (talk) 22:01, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

2007 Atlantic Hurricane Season

[edit]

Hey, why'd you delete my references to Tropical Storm Risk Inc.'s forecasts for the 2007 Atlantic Hurricane Season? The Interloafer 22:23, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

O.K., I re-opened the question on the talk page. The Interloafer 22:37, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ashley Ferl image

[edit]

I wasn't aware that you had to do that for a screen-shot of a TV show showing a person who the section/article is about. I thought that it was obvious, but I guess I was wrong. I put that information on the image. Thanks for letting me know. - hmwithtalk 21:54, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thanks for adding the clarification about the placings this week. Now hopefully we can keep that in there. :) I can guarantee that people will try to change that. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 04:54, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good. :) The more watching that article (and the contestant articles), the better. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 05:40, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use on Epidode lists

[edit]

Thanks for the link to the discussion. I'm glad someone eventually pointed out where the discussion was because it is not referenced in WP:NONFREE and the other related policy pages.

My 2 cents... the policy sucks. Despite the longer load times, I think the lists look better for having the images there. Anyone familiar with show in question, would find the images a useful reminder to a particular episode. I believe the thumbnails fall within policy because they illustrate the episode. If it is the legal repercussions that are driving the policy, I find it hard to believe that if an image is fair use in the individual episode page, then is it not fair use in the related list of epidodes (in fact I would be interested to see that tested in a court of law).

Furthermore, I've noticed that this issue was discussed before Christmas at Wikipedia talk:Fair use/Fair use images in lists, in which a poll was taken and the proposal failed. Has another poll been taken elsewhere and this time approved, or was it a unilateral decision by the admins? Astronaut 02:46, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Track maps

[edit]

Hi Ajm, could you please create track maps for TD3E through TS Dalila? Also, could you update Andrea's, Barry's and Alvin's tracks based on BT? Thanks. Chacor 02:31, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:ST-Enterprise_complete_series.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Videmus Omnia Talk 02:50, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Henreitte Damage

[edit]

I believe that the damage in the TCR is in fact an error as that works out as nearly 3 billion pesos and nothing like that has been said anywhere in any news article, whether spanish or english. I believe it should still be 275 mexican pesos not dollars, I have emailed the NHC and i am awaiting thier response. Also that value only applies to one state, not the whole country. WPTC Active Members

[edit]

The Wikipedia:WikiProject Tropical cyclones has changed greatly since it was first started, and according to our main page we now have 87 members. However, we only have a small group of members that are still active, and as such, I am sending this out to all users on the participants list. If you are still active, please sign your name here. If you do not wish to be part of the project any more, or if you do not answer to this, you will be placed on an inactive users list after a period of two weeks. If you wish to rejoin after you are put on the inactive users list, you are welcome to rejoin. Cheers. --Hurricanehink (talk) 18:46, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Seeing as the TWD also lists positions, could you add the following positions to the Olga track map, with a low position rather than tropical depression? Thanks if you can. --Hurricanehink (talk) 00:27, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
